I've been shopping for vintage clothing for years now, and have really never come across something quite this incredible and special!
This dress has an allover bold floral print, with more colourful areas along the hem and on the flutter sleeves. You can tell that great care was taken to make sure certain parts of the print covered certain areas of the dress. The fabric content is not listed, however I believe it to be 100% polyester, in a sateen weave. This dress would be so cute with black tights and black oxford shoes!
The fit of this dress is very fitted in the bodice, then flares out at the waist into a classic A-line shape. Based on the silhouette, fabric, construction and label ("In Gear") I am estimating this dress is from the early to mid 1970s. The dress is fully lined in white acetate lining fabric.
The fit of this dress is an extra small and please note the fabric does not stretch, so be sure to check the measurements below. Also please note the black belt is not included with the dress.
